Let It Go

Living a life
I'm not sure how to live
Not knowing what to do
Or where to go
Or why things are the way they are
Or, in truth,
Who I really am.
Life is difficult for all
But there are the good times
Everyone stresses at some point
So just relax and let it go.

The Ugly

It's so easy to see
That all that one cares for
Is them self.
It's so easy to see
That they believe
They are above others.
They are the kind of people
That nobody really likes,
That others try to avoid:
The rude, conceded
The haughty, inconsiderate
The ugly.

Repeat

Living through
The daily routine
Listening to
The same old thing
I'm getting tired
Of doing the same thing
Repeatedly
It gets old
And it gets boring
There are very few times
When something new
Is given up
I would rather
Sleep the day away
Instead of
Repeating the day
Over again

Note: I wrote this poem while I was still in high school and didn't get a chance to type it up yet. I found it today while looking for a recipe for a foreign dish that I have stashed somewhere around my room.
