Just For Once,....

Sick and tired of all the pain.
Sick and tired of all the drama.
Sick and tired of all the hate.
Sick and tired of all the tears.
Sick and tired of all the time it takes
Just to try to make things better,
Just for once, can't people throw away
The selfishness that they all carry
In their hearts.
Just for once, can't people just smile
Instead frown.
Just for once, can't people just be happy
And get along.
All I want to do is hide.
All I want to do is die.
Maybe then life will be the way it should be.

If only we might fall
Like cherry blossoms in the spring
So pure and radiant!

-Unknown

Note: This haiku speaks of how the Japanese Samurai of old hoped to die as they followed Bushido, the Way of the Warrior.

of stalwart warriors splendid dreams

Let It Go

Living a life
I'm not sure how to live
Not knowing what to do
Or where to go
Or why things are the way they are
Or, in truth,
Who I really am.
Life is difficult for all
But there are the good times
Everyone stresses at some point
So just relax and let it go.

The Ugly

It's so easy to see
That all that one cares for
Is them self.
It's so easy to see
That they believe
They are above others.
They are the kind of people
That nobody really likes,
That others try to avoid:
The rude, conceded
The haughty, inconsiderate
The ugly.

Fly away with me my DOVE
to a forbidden land where SKITTLES meet the rainbow
Lay under the MILKY WAY with me
And lets gaze at the STARBURST together
Just you and me, SWEET BLISS
I want to share your KISSES
When the moon begins to ECLIPSE
We'll be in each other's arms
Your all the PAYDAY I'll ever need
I always knew how much of a SWEET TART you could be.
NOW AND LATER, always and forever
There are ZERO people like you
Your my LIFE SAVER in this unforgiving world
I love all your SNICKERS
And I feel bliss when wrapped in your BUTTERFINGERS
I wouldn't trade you for a 100 GRAND

Repeat

Living through
The daily routine
Listening to
The same old thing
I'm getting tired
Of doing the same thing
Repeatedly
It gets old
And it gets boring
There are very few times
When something new
Is given up
I would rather
Sleep the day away
Instead of
Repeating the day
Over again

Note: I wrote this poem while I was still in high school and didn't get a chance to type it up yet. I found it today while looking for a recipe for a foreign dish that I have stashed somewhere around my room.
